I inserted the batteries correctly but the little gold pieces on each side of the battery compartment are being pulled off when the cap gets tightened.

Frustrated... In More Ways Than One!, September 2, 2010

Took it out of the box and it seemed fine. When I put the batteries in, it gave a little buzz. I wished there were instructions because I couldn't figure out the 'multi-speed'. I put it away for later use, but when I pulled it out again it didn't work at all. Even with new batteries. I should have listened to the reviewer before me who said not to waste my money.

This thing stopped working after one use. It wouldn't stay on. The battery compartment got really warm and the batteries actually melted inside the toy.
