A Big Favorite, January 7, 2014
There's a lot of pros and cons about this vibrator, but in my opinion the pros far outweigh the cons--especially for the price. Pros: first and foremost, it's incredibly inexpensive. That was my initial reason for buying it. Second, it's incredibly powerful. It's listed as multi speed, but I find it easiest and most satisfying to just crank it to full speed. If you can get the cap to cooperate and twist to a different setting without entirely popping off, you'll find softer settings. I'm a go big or go home kinda gal, so I go straight for the highest speed. It takes 1 AA battery, and depending on the battery a charge can last ages. I have a fresh battery in that I put in about 2 weeks ago, and I've used it three to six times a week since then, and it's just as strong as at first. I love the shape of this too; bullets (which can be just as strong or just as cheap) are too small for me. The Lifesaver is big enough to cover my clit, and put a nice pressure against the outside of my vagina (something I find I sort of need, these days). It's insertable, too, but I have a wimpy vagina for the time being and find it's too big for me. So, to recap the pros: inexpensive, powerful, and I adore the shape. Cons: Sort of loud, especially with a brand new battery. If you're looking for something silent or near unnoticeable, this isn't gonna do it for you. It's loud enough that if there's no other sound in the room, it's super noticeable. I don't mind it, and I'm used to the noise that I don't really notice how loud it is. It's very buzzy, the vibrations are most definitely surface level. Again, this doesn't bother me. Buzzy gets me off, the more direct vibrations please me. This can be too much sometimes, or it make just not be your thing. Also, a lot of people consider battery vibes to be a pain, but I don't mind it. Other things to consider: it's plastic, so if you don't warm it up (with your hands, or I just hold it between my legs) it can be a bit of a thermal shock. There's a seam around the middle of the vibe, but I don't find it noticeably when I'm using it. Be sure to clean it thoroughly though, because that seam can get a bit of gunk in it otherwise. THe case is far from discreet, and no one is gonna actually think you've got a jumbo back of candy. It suits the vibe, though, not unnecessarily large. I don't mind it, but something more plain might suit other's tastes better All in all, I love this vibe. I'm not the most experienced, but I know it gets me off and gets me off well.
