The best part is the pistol grip, for what use the gauge is I still don't get. You can see the pumping result in the tube. I do like the pumping pistol itself instead of a bulb action. The problem is the pivot point of the handle will snap and break if you're an enthusiastic pumper as I am. Keep a 1 inch X 6 inch strip of duct tape handy for when this pivot breaks, its a quick fix that is still working for me. My partner loves to watch me pump up and can't wait 20 minutes for the action to pump her to start.
